    Oh yea I'll probably sit on that bucket for many more years, but we've been going to pitch since she was in the 4th grade 5 nights a week all year long and there have been many good times and a great father daughter reationship made. It's just sad they have to grow up. YOU HAVE TO BE A PARENT TO UNDERSTAND!!!

    That's a fact.
    I'm determined that mine isn't growing up.
    I cherish the relationship that my DD and I have developed.
    I will continue to embarass her at her college games, and on into the future. HE HE HE !!
    She loves it though, even though she says she can't stand it.

    i'm gonna show this thread to my dd, i'm totally glad to know i'm not the only dad who embarasses his daughter on purpose( just for fun)....i tried to tell her a long time ago that i have always been the class clown, not on the same level as guru, but generally close...

    Guru it dont have to end.
    Hell Im 60 yo now and have two Grand kids, one 10 that plays TB (no I dont coach that team lol) and my DD and son in law just gave us a grandson a week ago. Its been a bit over three years that she graduated college and stopped playing. I have been involved with youth sports and coaching since 1980 and have no intention of giving up any time soon For the past ten years now I have coached at Crestdale MS and Butler HS along with My 18u team that started as 12yo 6 or 7 years ago. Man thats what keeps me young (relativley speaking). Yeah my wife thinks Im crazy to do it sometimes. But after 36 years together she still comes to about every game with me.

    Guru is a great friend to our sport. He does more that most know for any in the game regardless of the uniform they wear. And like Cheeze mentiomed that personal attacks are frowned upon so have fun here and enjoy TBR.

    I'm fine here, If this were their last season,last game,last at bat fine. But two more years and he's feeling bad now. I don't want to read what is yet to come for the remainder of the time. This isn't the time for this person to look for pitty. If he had responded to someone that was leaving the game for good and said he only had two years left , what woyuld he do then? I could understand but he started the thread. I don't see the reason there that's all. I am entitled to a IMHO aren't I?
