#1 Braves, you're not having sympathy for the enemy are you? If so, I need my TBR subscription money back or you need to change your tune!!!

#2 The DAWGS tied it up off their vaunted closer before the errant throw so it would not have been game over my man

#3 They knocked out UM's no 1 P earlier in the game

This team just has something special going on and never give up. The DAWGS played one of the toughest non conference schedules in the country plaing AZ, Oreg ST, etc and its really paying dividends in this big setting

Alex and I are out here in Omaha and if you love baseball you must make this trip one time. The stadium sits up on a hill in a neighborhood with vendors tents everywhere with souvenirs, food, :PubDrink: , equipment, etc. You park on lawns in the neighborhood around the stadium, but there is one parking lot at the stadium that looks like the pregame tailgate at a Clemscum game. The atmosphere inside is awesome with the left and right field bleachers cheering at each other(not always with the best language), the wave moving around, beach balls bouncing between innings and the local folks who could not be nicer. By the way, they all hate Miami due to the Nebraska -Miami football rivalry. We also ran into 3 families from Charlotte we didnt even know were coming. Make a plan for next year as you wont regret it.

    Go Dawgs!

    heartbreaker for the seminoles.

    UGH.

the errors by delmonico doomed us. i don't think he was ready to come back. it should have been stidham at SS, oravetz at 2B and delmonico at DH.

    oh, well...

now, we get to get some revenge against the canes for this game.

Josh Fields was my neighbor my junior year (his soph year). He's a real nice guy, but He's a little on the redneck side though. He had his roomate's pickup truck and tied a rope from the bumper to this tree behind our apartments and started revving his engine. I asked him what he was doing and he goes "Well, either I'm pullin this here tree out of the ground, or this bumper's fallin off. Either way we're throwin something in the pool tonight!"
Our starters are half decent (Moreau who I think is going against Stanford tomorrow) has been REALLY shaky. Montgomery wasn't even a weekend starter but in both of his games that he's pitched in the postseason he's done very well. I think Moreau will struggle tomorrow and make it through about 4 innings before Stephen Dodson comes in. I don't think it will matter because I think UNC wins it all, but it is good that Perno finally has Georgia in the World Series on a regular basis. The high school talent in Cobb County alone is absolutely unbelievable. That East Cobb high school program is one of, if not the best in the country.
