We just saw the UNC/LSU game. Great game and greater atmosphere!
Locals are super nice. They are excited about their new stadium and told us to make sure we come back.
The parties around the stadium were unbelieveable. Wish I had that prime real estate to rent out for a week. LOL

The reason is $$$$$$. The NCAA wants suites, etc and Rosenblatt only has about 6 of them now. While its a great setting the walkways etc are narrow like you find in old stadiums. I like the setting and believe they are about to lose a lot of the character that makes this so special. If you could see all the tents, food/bev set up in houses, the folks parking cars in their yards, etc you'd understand what I'm talking about. The field is about 3 miles south of downtown and I'm sure they are following Charlottes lead in trying to make downtown the destination.

The Heels were on fire and they look like they will be extremely tough to beat. Fresno St is the cinderella story and will be a big challenge, but I like a UNC vs UGA final series.

The 1st time I attended the CWS was in 1974. It was fun, the Park was pretty good and the attendance was minimal.

Now it continues to grow each year. I believe the interest, due mainly to TV, is causing an explosion of interest to include the casual fan. The seating is what? 25,000? With the interest level at an all time high and what appears to be the tip of new interest, I can see them needing and wanting a 40,000+ seating capacity.
