    Some of you may remember this outstanding former Millbrook HS pitcher. He apparently was struck by a car this week and is in serious conditiion. Here is the link:

    OH My....BJ and my son pitched against each other in the Tarheel Midget League Championship game when they were 10 yrs old. His mom and dad are great people and big baseball fans. My prayer will be for a full recovery.

    the last i was told was that bj was put in a medically induced coma. while he was awake he was responsive to the Dr.'s from what i was told but is still in pretty bad condition.

    Just heard they were going to get him out of the coma, and try to get him back to NC. Apparently he got some good news. I know that his condition was upgraded. I'll try to get some info later today.

    Happy to report that BJ is alert and doing well. His stent has been removed, and the ct scan showed no problems.
