Exactly. If UNC beats LSU but loses to Fresno, it's no better of a season than if they just lose to LSU. They need to save White for game 1 against Fresno. They've lost 2 straight championship series's so anything short of a championship this year is the same. It's a great accomplishment to get to Omaha but winning it is all that matters for them at this point after what happened the past two years.

    Golden Egg

So much for LSU this year. He layed a Golden Egg on them. Great win for the Heels. That type of win will bring them into tomorrows game with alot of Mo. Great clutch bomb by a great player. Way to go Timmy!!!!

    Maybe Warren?

But how about Bates? This is a redshirt freshman pitching in the CWS and man was he good. He missed the entire year last season with a blod clot in his shoulder and he had to have it removed. If you have not heard they had to take out part of one of his ribs to fix it. He keeps the bone in his back pocket when he pitches. What a great performance by him coming in behind Harvey after the rain delay. Great win by the Heels. And if I were Fed I would have flipped it too!
