    WF played a 4pm game and got it in before the storms came.

    Thats smart, it hurts your attendance playing earlier in the afternoon, but the last week of the season when you "must" get games in, you do what you have to do.

    7 inning game

    WF took came out flat and kicked the ball all over the field in the 1st. inning.

    David Cook pitched into the 7th, Nic Wise came on in the 7th and picked up the win.

    Wilson improves to 13-3 with nonconference win in Greenville; returns to Area I East North Division play Tuesday night at home vs. Edenton. Pitt 39 drops to 8-4 and visits South Division frontrunner Kinston on Wednesday. Wilson HRs by Zac Crumpler and David Gibbons (opposite field).

    Kannapolis-6 over South Rowan-4

    Ryan Overcash pitched 7 & 1/3 strong innings and was really kinda on cruise control with a 6-1 lead when the lights literally went OUT at SR stadium. After a half hour wait for the lights to come back on, SR rallied for 3 runs but Kannapolis held on for the 6-4 win. Hunter Pate led Kannapolis with 3 hits, one for a homerun and Jacob Wright added a homerun.
