Team Carolina

I was at the Pastime Tournament at Winthrop Univ this weekend and saw Team Carolina play a few games and heard from others about them. I did not know of this team before but from what I saw this team is completely loaded with talent. I was told that they didnt even have all of thier players this weekend. I knew or had heard of most of them I think all signed graduated and some current college. Does anyone know anything about them, are they playing in Atlanta? are they going to any Impact Tournaments? what is thier roster? Do they have any underclassmen or looking for some. One of the best I have seen from NC in a while.

 

I think this team might be made up of college kids from the Raliegh area, so they would not be eiligible for 18U tourneys.

 

they are made up of 08 graduates from all over nc and a few from sc and yes they are going to East Cobb for the 18u tourney.

This is a team that has been put together by Keith Koster, Eric Hanover, Rich Pilkington and Kenny May. They are basically a combination of the Dirtbags, SC Panthers and On Deck graduated 08 players. It was built to compete in Atlanta and the CABA in Charleston. They are also playing College summer league teams from around the state. Here is the roster

Team Carolina WWBA

That link brought back alot of great memories and a couple of painful memories as well. You've got to love great friends that look after you in Atlanta and while you are on pain meds with stitches in both lips, teeth in the wrong place, love you enough to let you drink orange juice, thus needing more pain meds.

We had a great time at Winthrop this past weekend with this team, great players, great coaches and great kids. Looking forward to Atlanta, behind the fences.
