moors go down to rowan 6-3. chris bonaventure pitched well enough to win. moors hit the ball hard but rowan made the plays. bats were led by tyler lewis who had 2 hits. along with a base hit from chris dula. the 1st baseman couldnt figure out how to field a bunt and it cost the moors the game.

moors beat west irdell on sunday a game that was finished from an earlier rain delay. tyler lewis started the game and pitched 2 nd 2/3 before the rain came. the moors were up 4-0. wes dumbford started the game when it was resumed going 3 1/3 inning before jeffrey mason.

offensively brad chamberlain was 2-2 with a homerun. tyler lewis also hit a homerun. nick keith had a hit

the final ended up being 8-0. they play tonight against west irdell at home. looks like lewis on the mound.

Nothing notable for Rowan. Mooresville handed them the game simple on errors and too many walks in front of those errors. first 2 or 3 innings Mooresville hit lineouts directly to their outfield. Moors lost but doubt they will again next time.

    WHAT?
Why is a player who is rehabbing a surgically reconstructed shoulder even pitching in a baseball game?

hes pitching with the rehabbing shoulder to work his way back into pitching.
his arm had surgery over a year ago, he went through all his tubing and rehabbing and is now working back into pitching...the same way a major league pitcher goes back down to the minors to make a rehab start...
    its common sense...

the moors was not overrated when they beat you 8-0. They just had a bad night. They would beat you 8 out of 10 times.

Had labrum surgery in May of '07 to repair major tear. He went through rehab program and didn't pitch this spring due to the injury and surgery. Has had 3 starts in Jr. Legion so far this year as continuation of his rehab program. Not expected to be full strength for another 6-8 months.
