Logan "Lucy" is as advertised! She also has two older sisters that can play just as well, Macy(Blaze) and Bailey/ just going into 8th grade (Shock 16u). All of these young ladies are well mannered on and off the field. Drew and Kelly have put in a lot of work with these ladies.

Logan works just as hard as the "big girls" and even gets upset when she can't do some of the harder paced drills. By upset, I mean she sits on her batbag with her glove on her hand waiting to be called back onto the field. Never a negative word. She loves to show you how she can pitch and one day she will prove to Ricky she can throw from the outfield to home so she can play up....LOL (inside joke, but not to her):clapclap:

Sorry, I'll be at the Sate Games this weekend. Check out their web site for scores and photos http://www.ncfastpitch.org/index.cfm?id=69695&fuseaction=browse&pageid=1. I'm real excited about talent at this tournament.

    hair risk

do ya'll do anything to reduce the risk of a girl getting her hair or arm caught in the pitching machine in machine pitch ball? Always had a fear of that happening.

These guys do a great job....just have good friends on the team and watched them at Mighty Casey and was very impressed. ......Got my hands full with a 1st year 16U team trying to change rec ball mentality to Travel Ball....NOT an easy job. I WISH I could get an 8 U team and start from scratch, WOW that would be great......Lots of TERRIBLE habits already ingrained in them at 16.......but hey thats what a coach is for huh. Good Luck to all these 8 U teams......Lots of fun to watch.
