    The Perfect Game WWBA 18U National Tournament kicked off today in East Cobb, Georgia.

    We will research Carolina teams participating and list later but right now are hustling to the Phillies v. Braves where 2009 SCP player Richie Shaffer will be announced as a member of the Aflac All American Team that will play later this summer in L.A.

    What a great honor for these two guys. I love watching both of them play. I have actually heard, while umpiring games, the opposing players talking about these kids. Compliments from your peers is tops in my book.

    I was cleaning out the attic and ran across the 2003 PG/WWBA program. There are 18 current major leaguers that played in that game..led by Prince Fielder.
