A rematch of Jupiter, Fl in the fall where they ended in a tie then as well.
Reports told me there were a lot of scouts at this game. I hope they were impressed with both teams.

Andy told me that inspite of playing bad they still won. Chris Munnelly was perfect thru 4 innings and left with a 3-0 lead. Cody Penny, Matt Graham and Parker Thomas (save) followed. Chaz Frank walked 3 times and singled, Levi Michael had 2 hits while Brian Goodwin and Chris Overman added hits.

North Hurricanes 9 SDL Rookies 0

Jeff said they played really well and got very timely hits.

Not sure on that ones. Dirtbags & SCP have really showed the last few years. The teams that they compete against have been around a little longer and come from historically baseball regions(Tex, Fl & Cal). As far as nationally recruiting. Unsure but that will keep me busy awhile.

What if a new team recruits the cream from the others. Do they get an invite? Is there a team limit? Qualifiers? Bank account check? Just good questions. It is a great event.

Not sure on WHAT? That East Cobb Astro's, Florida Bombers and Chet Lemon's Juice are not perennial super teams? All one has to do is a little research on the history of PG's WWBA events to know this...and they are not the only one's. You can find a team from every region that is among the consistent super teams...I've been following this championship since 2002. I know the teams that are historically strong, and I know this. There are no weak teams.

The national teams are recruiting all the time. They are now recruiting players for their fall team to compete at PG WWBA's event in Jupiter

I remember facing the Bombers in Atlanta in 03 or 04 and they were LOADED, ended up winning the tournament that year I think. Thier starter went on to being the closer for UT and their first baseman O'Aglesio(SP?) had a good career at Clemson. They are every year in the top 5 teams picked to win it all.

They just finished winning the 18-U this year. I don't know why PD thought to challenge me on this. I know my PG teams history.

Braves, throw the golf cart in park.
Note the numbers are refering to my statement.

    1. I was saying that the Carolina teams have been in the mix the last few years. And look at what I wrote.
    2. I was saying that these teams come from what is know as fact. these states have always had strong baseball teams (hHS, Coll, AAU, USSSA and LL).

    3. Was going to look at who they recruit from a far. This is the way I take nationally. Just like DB did last year with a pitcher. Looking just of the cuff. There is a team called the Florida Bandits, Two from FL one from NY. Strange roster

    4. These are good questions for you with your vast knowledge. As I see that East Cobb has about 16 elite teams entered.

I guess I should have worded my question a little different. I just wanted to know with all the infinite wisdom of this board which teams everyone thought to be "the cream of the crop". I am aware of the fact all of them are good or they would not be in this tournament. With Braves being the knowledgeable? one I knew he would know what I was talking about. I believe last year someone picked Chet Lemon's to win it all but don't believe they did. It was nice to follow one of the favorites. I know this, with all the pitching the Dirtbags took with them I think smart money will pick them. Thanks for the info
