    Thats amazing! If you can keep those girls together for the next 7 or 8 years, you could be the national champs in all those division. I may not be around to see those young ladies play on an 18u team, but with what they have accomplished at an early age, I am sure they will be very good. I know you are proud of these girls, and so am I. Good luck for the rest of your incredible season.

    Thanks for the kind words Comet fan!! We sure hope you will be around for them all to turn 18. We will have to beat the boys off with sticks and rocks to keep them playin until they turn 18.

    actually they've scored 725 runs and given up 183...prior to this weekend (I think you saw 214 points)

    now 56-2!:satana:

    I've never seen any team at any level win 12 of 12 tournys. Its insane how these girls hit and field the ball. There is virtually no difference in the top and bottom of the lineup.

    Good Sportsmanship

    My daughter's team has had the privilege of playing the Blaze a couple of times and one of the things i have come to appreciate is their good sportsmanship. From the coaches and the players. We played a team this past weekend and they had terrible sportsmanship!! All the way from one of the coaches yelling out to his girls to "knock" our girls down when they tag them to one ( or more) of the little girls- themselves- SCRATCHING a few of our girls on the arms during the post game handshake......leaving marks! (I must say that not all of the coaches were like that....just one.) Things like that REALLY make you appreciate a great team with great sportsmanship. Keep it up Blaze.....hopefully we'll meet again!!

    It must have been that great Providence HS training from Coach Smith rubbing off on this team...I think I'll let him know how he is still affecting the youth in Charlotte :trampoline:

    Talked to one of the Cobra parents last weekend, & I couldn't believe their record in 18u was 32-2, playing some of the top teams from Ga., Fla. That's a very hard feat espicially in 18u facing teams with college girls on it.
