    Cherryville wins, Cherryville wins.... In a thriller the Post 100 team hangs on in the bottom of the ninth to with the game in Caldwell county...... Priceless

    Cherryville hung on to win there opening round game against Denver last night. Jake Watts pitche 7 2/3 and only give up one hit. Seth Freeman finished the 8th and 9th to secure the win. T.J. Skidmore pitched a dandy for the Denver guys and was able to quite the Cherryville bats for the most part. Al Benson hit a two run homer to give Cherryville the lead. The series shifts to East Lincoln tonight if the weather will cooperate.

    I hope Cherryville makes it all the way this year. I wouldn't miss BDR in the World Series for nothing.
