3Play and Catcher10, you just had to go ahead and give Coach 27 the info. You need to make him work harder!

Stretchy, no trouble out of us this weekend... a few stories swapped, a few opinions banted about... but no trouble - heck, I was even tempted on the karoke, but thought I needed to try and keep a good first impression in Coach27 and son... so I layed low and just swapped a few more stories...

I pulled duty at GSS in the mornings on grounds crew...

Special thanks to PCC staff Coaches Eason and Mullis for their hospitality each day when we showed up... now THERE were some stories and one liners swapped over there lol:bounce:

Better keep your eye on that Lefty Deters... he is one of the better unknowns out there... I think striking out 6 of the last 7 he saw makes him a lil more known now...lol

That North Canes team was a little shorthanded this past weekend but I think they are reloading for next year-they had a couple 2010s playing that are pretty impressive and have a really good 16u group. My guess is not much dropoff next year

    Two Games

Had a chance to see the 09 Heat on sarurday and sunday. All three teams
Heat, Richmond and Blue Jays played well, sound defence and good pitching. Jason's boys are not shy at the plate. He was a little short due to injury and brought up an outfielder and catcher from the 10's. Both players played very well. Jason Harris can coach.

    Heat Showcase Baseball 2009

Yes Jason Harris is a very good coach and does a great job with these young men. I was glad to see the Heat come back and finish this tournament on a strong note. I think he was missing a couple of his players this weekend too. WHO got HURT for the Heat? WHAT happened?

    Jason Harris

He's a good one and I would love to see him and his guys get more press. This seems to be such a marketing deal with these kids and he sure has some historicly good one. I couldn't go to the games but from what IO understand, the last game the boys were lauching the balls everywhere! Yes he was missing a few and brought up a couple but those he brought up are very good players too. Look for some verbals soon! Jeffrey Howell is already there!

Most of the kids and families on this team are pretty shy and humble. Seeing as that I am not! hahaha Maybe I should do the bragging for them???

    Again, good job Jason!!

As I understand it nothin serious, a little sore from the summer schedule. Everyone is fine and ready for the fall after a little rest.
Scouts at both games some repeat appearances. Jason is doing a good job on that end of things also.
