Any opinions on this event? Wondering if anybody attended the first session earlier this week. My son will be attending the second session next weekend. It's his first showcase event. Just curious what to expect.

    Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I've been to the website. I'm curious if anybody on here has attended one of their events before or knows anybody that has. Being my son's (rising junior) first showcase, I'd like to get some feedback on what to expect.

I'll be sure and post back here after the event and let everyone know how it went.

Historically, the event at Wake Forest has been outstanding. It is well-run and widely attended. I temper my statements because I have not attended the last few years and maybe things have changed (I hope not). But the years I did attend, they were organized, had very good talent, great coaching and there were quite a few scouts.

This is certainly one of the tournaments found in NC that I would recommend attending.

Good luck with your son and I'm looking forward to hearing what you have to say about it. One hopes that a tournament that has had success has continued to keep their same standards.

My son attended this event last year. It was one of the most rewarding experiences just from the quantity of scouts, both college and major, that were in attendence. The exposure from this event was right up there with the World Wood Bat tournament at East Cobb. He received a tremendous amout of calls from coaches that were there. There were lots of letters too, but we all know the calls are what counts.
Another positive is the quality of players that are there. The coaches that volunteer to coach the games are the best. They provide insight on recruiting and what to expect your first year in college.
Very positive experience from last year and I would highly recommend it (and have) to others.
    Good luck!
