    new head softball coach is Lee Swanson, congrats to Lee, good luck with your program and take care of my girl Rachael Stowe (can never spell her name right, but its the thought that counts)

    Lee was coach at Belmont Abbey a few years back, actually coach of year twice in CVAC as it was called at that time. Pretty good recruiter! Should do well.

    Thank you both for the kind words. I am anxious and ready to hit the ground running. Coaches feel free to send any information about players,I am willing to look at any player that will help the program. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    Cha, I know Lee, and I got an email from him several days ago saying he had took the head coaching job at Montreat. Lee is from Iowa and was head coach at Belmont Abbey for several years. I am very glad that he is back coaching in NC. He will do a good job at Montreat. Has a lot of friends and contacts in the Charlotte area. Good at recruiting also.

    Who the heck is Lee Swanson? Could they not get a better coach than that? Watch out for starve wars!

    Hopefully they will get his contact info up soon. I know at least one kid that was/is interested in Montreat.

    Beg to differ

    The player Lee had were some of best ever to play at the Abbey, I believe there were five or six all-conference performers and a player of the year!
