    Was just curious if there's any word about the UNC current players and potential upcoming freshmen who got drafted? Who all is coming to UNC or staying at UNC, and who all has signed to play with a pro team? Is anyone still undecided? When is the deadline to make this decision?

    Names I'm unsure of are Fedex, Fedroff, Tim Melville, Garrison Lassiter, etc.

    Fedx signed and is playing for the Boston Red Sox minor league team. The others I think will be on campus next month.

    Baseball America is projecting Melville to sign a pro contract. He has until 8/15 to sign. If not signed by then, he'll be at UNC.

    I have also heard Melville is expected to sign and that FedEx has signed and began his pro career.

    OurPastime, here is InsideCarolina's recruiting board, and it tells you which incoming freshmen have signed so far. In general, this forum is a great place to discuss all Carolina sports, especially baseball (if you haven't already discovered it).

    Hoes , Knapp , Gibson have already signed with pro teams. Melville is a likely sign for the Royals. Its unclear right now if Lassiter will sign with the Yankees or not.

    Thanks for the help guys. Keep me updated if there's any official word about Melville and/or Lassiter in the near future.

    Still sounds like a pretty solid freshman class for the Heels. I wish Hoes was coming but the guys I'm familiar with and have played against (Baldwin, May, Messer, etc) all have bright futures.

    Can't wait to get down there as a student this fall and enjoy watching UNC sports!
