    Shelby wins another slugfest!

    Shelby 14
    Alabama 10

    Shelby is hitting better than anyone right now, however, their pitching is not as good as it can be. Shelby's best hitter and probable pitcher for tomorrow's game (Seth Canipe) was ejected in the 8th inning after arguing a third strike call. It was a very questionable ejection as Seth was running back to the dugout, the umpire was running right beside him and ejected him when he got back to the dugout. That's a big loss for Shelby. But we have two North Carolina teams representing our state very well and they will face off tomorrow at 7 o'clock. I can't wait.

    Sumter's Matt Price throws no hitter as Sumter beats Fort Pierce 4-1
    Sumter plays at 1PM Sunday against the loser of Randolph/Shelby

    very rare in Regionals I'd say...he walked 4 and SC had 3 errors
