Randolph wins 6-1 over Alabama and will play Monday (Opponent TBD). Will need to win twice to win the regional.

Thanks legionguy17, yes I understand Randolph will play Monday at 4pm against the winner of Sumter/Shelby which is about to start. If Shelby loses today against Sumter, Shelby will get to sit and play at 7pm tomorrow against the winner of the 4pm game (Shelby earned that by going the furthest without a loss).

Tourney schedule is update on page 1 (2nd post).

Again, if Sumter hangs on to win, since this will be Shelby's first loss of tourney,,, Sumter will play Randolph tomorrow at 4pm, with the winner facing Shelby for the championship immediately following.

However, Shelby still has 3 outs remaining today...

With 4,600+ fans at last nights Randolph County/Shelby game, there were another 4,822 fans for the last game on tonight and a total of 7,433 for both games on Sunday.

Total attendance for first 4 days of tournament = 25,236

... in other words, for those going on Monday, GET THERE EARLY!!!

Awesome food at Keeter Stadium, if you have never seen a tournament of this caliber with this size crowd, need to go.

Last thing, Shelby radio just announced it will be FREE ADMISSION on Monday........:smiley-patriotic-fl

This is absolutely great for Shelby to do. I know the easy reply is that they don't need the $$ based on what they've made on this tourney and will make on the nationals. But how many hosts would actually do it? They could easily make 10-12$ a head on the doubleheader but in an unusualy turn of events, somebody's thinking about the fans, who largely make this possible.

I completely agree and certainly hope this is true, all I can say is that it was announced by Shelby radio WOHS at the end of the Sumter/Shelby game.

I have always said that Shelby repeatedly puts on the best tournaments around, PERIOD. This is just one example.

The food, the carnival out front and the venue are also 2nd to none.
