Definitely will keep an eye on her. We move Brittany in this Saturday.
I'm sure there will be a few tears shed, even though she's just down the road.
As far as the tattoo goes, I had to go with Britt the other night to get her first.
Now, she's sparked something in me. I'm going next week to get mine. HAHAHA !!!

    Speaking of Tatoos...

In NC can a kid under 18 get a tatoo if their parents are with them?

mine will be tears of joy and pride... seeing years of hard work, dedication and sacrifice pay off in the realization of a dream she has had since she was in the 5th grade.

So, if you're under 18, you can take a parent with you to get pierced, but you can't get a tattoo either way.

(Well you can, but the artist is risking being charged.)

Don't think they care. I have seen a ton of girls under 18 with tats. We are like Panther29D. We won't let our DDs get one until they are 18. Our oldest is really bent about that. She just started college but is 17 for another month so is out on her own and still can't get a tat!

Now back to the subject of this thread...

My wife moved our oldest DD in this past weekend while I was in Rock Hill with our youngest so I got spared from the moment of leaving her in the dorm.

Personally I think it is great to see them grow up and go off on their own. We are very proud of her and her accomplishments. It has also improved the relationship between DD and momma even though she has only been gone a few days. Things were getting very tense in the household for a while and now just like that, they get along great again and she has come back home to visit several times already.

Now we are like Guru waiting for the youngest to get off to college so we can go have some fun!
