Shay moved in with a couple of girls last weekend and started school on monday will be moving again this coming week with a girls she gets along with much better so needless to say, this has been a truly stressful week.

We actually got Tats for Christmas that Shay designed and drew up herself. Had an artist that was a friend do them. Unfortunately, I know how addictive they are(currently have 5) and am waiting for her to come home at the end of the month with her second after she turns 18. She has actually drawn up a couple more designs that I am thinking about getting. LOL.

just got back from vacation .......

and know this thread is been up for a while, but here is an portion of an email I got from a close friend asking about my daughter and how she and mom/dad are getting along.

Margie, goes to church up here, has 4 kids, year before last the last one went off to college and I asked her if she was having empty nest syndrome and she said ... "I raised them for this. I raised them to be responsible adults, to go out in to the world and become something, I can't be sad when they do, all I can do is support them." I thought that was like the best answer I had ever heard

I like what the above poster said about the IM thing. When you see the away messages changing I guess everythings going good.

Still, it was not a easy day this past Tuesday for I took one away that day. Guess I still need to be focused on my youngest one still at home, for she may be having a difficult time and not really showing alot of emotion.

    chachacha.........good thread.

    This is a great sentiment....

... and also a good point... sometimes we over look the the reaction that the sibling might have... considering the younger ones never knew a time without their older sister around. We had this same discussion yesterday while driving away from my middle daughter's new home.
