I'm with Braves...... alot of good memories / hard work /sweat went into this field over the years not just from Coaches but from parents and friends that cared about the field as well.

If I still had a kid there I would be pushing ALL baseball parents to get involved.....I don't think the Coach will object to improving the field and facility.....also, On DecK.....get involved, help make the field "safe" and "playable".

I'm sure Kevin will do his part......parents, step up and help out....don't just talk about the field help do something about it! :rockon2:

Parents will work hard. They need a leader, a communicated vision, and a plan to get there. Coach Bagwell has all three covered.

Bags has left the building.....need to start thinking about "Plan B" if you want to save the field and have it playable by the time the season is ready to go.

All they need is Gemetta Stanford to spearhead the "Fix Up The Ballfield drive"....and it will look better than ever. When Bag's wanted something done, he whispered in her ear and......Bam....it was done.

"Gemetta, I want new lights, a new windscreen -with the Sabre logo- new grass for the infield and outfield, a new brick backstop with a matching screen, a fence to seperate fans from the dugout, new speaker system, concrete walkway for the fans and the stands, a logo collar around HP and new batting cages"

"Okay....will this coming weekend be fine?"

"Yeah, but no later than Sunday. Oh, and I need ALL the parents there Saturday for spring cleaning"

"Only Saturday? About 8 of them will be here tonight and the rest of the week for weeding and painting. Is there anything else?"

"Yeah, I need a new scoreboard, too"

    ......and that's what happens
