Deuce Wright of South Mecklenburg HS. Switch hitting catcher with a terrific arm and one of the BEST back stops I have ever seen! Pop times are consistently under two seconds. He has already drawn the attention of many D1 colleges and also has received the attention of a couple of MLB teams. This kid is the real deal!

Kurt Semeniuk of Providence HS. Big strong kid who hits with power to all fields and pitches.

    2010 Players

    Here's a List:

    Dale Innes - Enka
    D.J. Thomas - Riverside
    Josh Greene - York, SC
Ethan Ledbetter - Mount Pleasant, NC
    Byron Haag - Marvin Ridge
    Brian Holberton - Myers Park
    Andy Wilson - Myers Park
    Noah Holmes - East Rowan
Jesse Brewer - Rock Hill, SC
Matt Barrier - Mount Pleasant, NC
    Tyler Alberts - West Forsyth

All these kids can play at the next level and I've had the pleasure of watching most of them grow up on the baseball field. I'm sure there are more, but this is a first pass.

West Wake Wildcats have some good ones

Some info on players from Cary area that I am aware of...

Grant Shambley - Green Hope HS - CF
Shambley played 52 games this summer and hit .537 with 26 SB's. Played 302 innings in CF and made 1 error. Gap to Gap hitter, excellent bunter...Great kid, Great family, TON of potential.

David Hamm - Athens Drive HS - SS
Hamm is a baseball player. Left handed hitter. Very determined kid, wants to win at all costs but still respects the game. Hit .360 this year and was a starting SS all summer, had 12 doubles.
