Top 2010 players

Looks a lot like a Dirtbag roster. A few of those kids just joined the team and a few were most recently with The Heat.

 

Makes you say hummmmmmmmm...

 

Why? Good players are good players no matter who they play for. I'm glad TBR has offered them an opportunity to be recognized, as i'm sure their parents do as well.

Wholeheartedly concur on Himler. Great kid with skills and a fantastic work ethic. Hope he has a great Jr. year at Hopewell. I am vaguely famaliar with Prowse and that is strickley as a pitcher. Read enough box scores last year though to know he's more than that.

I waited several days to reply to this post. At first I was pissed, so I didn't post. I waited to see if I misunderstood. Plus, I try not to post when emotional either way.

I made a simple comment that a post up the page looked like a Dirtbag roster. i don't know for sure and I'm damn sure not going to take the time to check it out. I don't care that much. This thread is about 2010 players. I guess we should post the roster of all 2010 showcase teams, not just one. Maybe I should have been more clear. Souther, I think you took my post as one of anger, frustration, jealousy, who knows. That wasn't it. I just made a simple observation.

However one sentence in your post struck me. You say, "everybody knows they got theirs." What exactly do they have? Is this some rite of passage thing? By your statement I got the impression you place these kids or the team on some pedestal. When i look at these kids and any other kid I look at HOW they play not WHO they play for. I'm still trying to figure out "what they got". It may come as a surprise to you that not everyone aspires to what you think. I now most every kid on that team. Some are very, very talented. If what you mean by that statement is that some are talented, then I would agree. However if you mean that by making the Dirtbag team then "they got theirs", I think we can respectfully disagree. No hard feelings, we may just disagree.

 

If he continues to post information of the Cape Fear area. I would love to get continual info from there.
