    Not being defensive u always have a comment about a gold team. If u don't have a dog in the hunt then stay on the porch.

    Well, while I think my dd is one fine catcher, I'd have to put Haley Pace from Pisgah HS as one of the finest catchers I've ever seen. Laurel Gregg from Madison is an awesome pitcher as well as Brooke McDonald from Roberson. Robyn Burnette from Pisgah is an awesome slapper.Just a few from Western North Carolina. IMHO

    Would like to give props to Anna Maness pitcher, Holley Berry catcher, and Cynthia Hayes shortstop all from Southwestern Randolph.

    Also Maggie Mckensie pitcher, Brittanie Tedder catcher and shortstop, Amander Terry outfield all from Richmond County.

    Sara Hansen, pitcher/2nd/of
    both Liz and Sara have awesome arms and play their other positions very well when not pitching!
    Halie Pierson, CF
    Alex Stegall, catcher
    Nicole Helms, ss

    These girls are relatively unknown except to us locals but are GREAT
    players!

    I am sure all the mentioned players are very good players. How about adding some stats for those of us who like softball but do not get to travel around and watch a lot of games.

    Why is it that parents give the best Stats to their kids??---- Go Figure !!! I know of one parent that doesn't, she is actually harder on her kid than the others, and I also know another parent,well enough said !!! Stats don't really tell the whole story , because alot of times it's your or my opinion on whether that was a hit or an error....remember it's 99% an opinion with most of the score keepers I know, except one !!!
