VP? Why would I need one of those? You're picking me, not them. They just want to ride my tail....forget those lazy, good for nothing Bums. I'm willing to save the country money. I don't need a VP.

I went to a fundraiser one time excited to see how much money my campaign had raised. I was told it was in the negative numbers and was dropping rapidly.........a bunch of kidders, what can I say. But I dropped out after only one afternoon of campaigning. It was too hot!

    Yeah

I was going to run for President but I decided the country wasn't ready for me. First of all I think people that can work should work. And if they don't they need to learn they won't get paid. Also I always thought if you couldnt qualify for a loan you probaly shouldnt get one. Prisons? Yeah lets keep locking everyone up thats working really good. Instead of fighting to fix the social and economic issues that cause people to do the things that get them locked up we can just keep locking them up? Yeah hows that working out? Whats that cost? Sure there are some clowns that we need to lock up because they force us to. But please give me a break. The only people benefitting from all of this are the ones that make all the money from this broken down system. Lawyers and such. Hey if you got some dough you can walk. If you dont you go to jail. Seems pretty fair to me.
"Sir are you sure you want to plead guilty?" "We will continue your case until you can hire an attorney." "Sir is your attorney present." "Yes your Honor." "How do you plead?" "Guilty." WOW!! Genius.

Yeah so many issues , they are not ready for me. Lets see Billions of dollars and thousands of lives lost in Iraq. And they are paying 9 cents a gallon for gas and we are paying 4.00 a gallon? Genius. I say we make Iraq pay for the rebuilding by giving us free oil. Hows that? Yeah so many issues. Yeah I was going to run for president then I realized they are just not ready for common sense in Washington.

Oh , is this a baseball site? As president I say we build a baseball field in every city in America for kids to play on. We force the city to maintain it. And we do not allow anyone to be present but kids. And we let them play and have fun so one day they will want to play when they get older. And we make Exxon and Mobil etc play for the darn:yamyam: things. Hows that?

I can also recall Bush sayinmg that the war in Iraq wouldn't cost us a dime. That their oil and the japanese would pay for it all....I guess he forgot.

I'll be Coach May's VP. A maintained complex in every city and no cost to play...that's the slogan

Help for the Disadvantaged and Ideas Needed!

Talk about timing! I would like to let you all know what my Son is working on for a community service project.
I would tell him about growing up very poor and my parents being unable to buy baseball equipment for us to use.
We would go down to the American Legion games and get broken bats and foul balls to play the game. Gloves would come from others who had worn them out and passed them down to us. Shoes was whatever we could get.
Now my Son has never had to deal with that and I thought he had just let all that I was telling him go through one ear and out the other. Well the other night
he came to me and said, "Dad, I want to help kids that can't afford gloves, baseballs, bats and shoes to play baseball". "I don't want them to go through what you did to play". I was never any prouder of my Son!
He arranged a meeting with the Mayor of Mount Plesasnt and all the principals in the town. He presented a plan to put drop off boxes in the schools and at the high school football games for baseball equipment. He also is setting up a bank account for monetary donations.
This year it's Mount Pleasant and next year it's Cabarrus County. After that, if all goes well, it's North Carolina.

He said, "I just want to give back something because I have really been blessed to have been able to play the game all my life". He's 16!!!!

They never cease to amaze me!

Well, If any of you have any thoughts or ideas, please send to me and I'll pass it on to my Son.

I must agree with the previous posters re: the issue of african americans in baseball. It has become an exspensive sport to play if you take the showcase, aau route. My son has been the only african american on his team for the majority of his baseball experience, starting with t-ball. He plays football also, but loves everything about baseball. Recently, he verbally commited to the University of South Carolina, so Future if your son needs some encouragement from someone here in the triad I volunteer my son. He loves the game, and he's already heard all the negatives that some of his peers feels about the game. Basically that it's a boring white/latino sport. They don't know, and haven't been taught the rich history african americans have with the sport. From the great players in the negro leagues to the pioneers that integrated professional baseball. Email me if your son wants to get together with my son, we live in high point. My son is DeSean Anderson and he plays for Ragsdale High School and the Dirtbags, he'd be glad to give some words of advice, and be a good listener.
