    Hey Diesel, do you remember him? I just met the young man this weekend and boy was I impressed; as a person and a player. He is recovering from a elbow injury and he appears to be at 100%. This kid can flat out mash a ball!!!

    Also, he has that special confidence that exudes from those special players. It's one of those, "Yep, I'll put you on my back, now let's go win!"

    I love this young man!

    Oh, yes... remember and know "Letch" well... product of the JH Rose program and American Legion Post 39. Then to Louisburg, ECU...and now he's playing for Coach Oz, isn't he?

    Played with him for two years at Louisburg and he has amazing talent and one of the fastest people I have ever seen. He comes from a great family and I hope he has a good year and gets drafted. He was the type fo player to put the team on his back and carry us. I saw him do it a lot of times and his leadership is something everyone sees out of him but you never question if it's there because he is a naturally born leader and overall a great guy to talk too.

    He wished you congrats on your engagement. He also agreed with me that you out-punted your coverage. He said to make sure you said Hi to your folks from him.

    The only two times I saw Letchworth play he mashed. The first was when he hit a mammoth homer to power JH Rose over Fuquay-Varina in the 2003(?) eastern finals, and last year he hit a bomb at Barton on a pitch that was right on his hands.

    The one over Fuquay... was that the one he hit OVER the scoreboard at Mudcats stadium?
