    McLawhorn and Prince

McLawhorn and Prince are two of the best 2010 players I have seen in the state. McLawhorn is a very athletic player that can play multiple posistions and play them very well. He can run , he has a great arm and the kid can swing it. It does not surprise me to hear he may go behind the plate I have seen him catch and he is very good back there. I like him on the hill as well. One things for sure he is a plus defender no matter where he plays be it SS 2B Catcher etc etc. The kid can flat out play the game.

William Prince is one of the Top 2010 pitchers in the state , in fact he is one of the top pitchers in the state period. William is a mid to upper 80's guy already with outstanding off speed stuff he can command. He has a super quick arm and the ball gets on hitters quick. I watched William 1 hit a super talented showcase team out of SC this summer and simply dominate them. He is also a very athletic kid. William reminds me alot of current ECU rhp Seth Simmons.

Both of these young men bring it when they show up to the field. They are super competitors and fine young men. Fike is once again going to be a very good baseball team. Both of these young men are going to be getting alot of looks this spring.

My only suggestion is to keep them away from Grayben. Often times people are judged by the company they keep:trampoline:

Agree with Coach 27 on both players. McLawhorn plays extremely loose with no fear and Prince is a very good a right hander with pitchability.

But, I have to mention Mitchell Wheeler (Fike) also. Good 3rd baseman, that can hit, run, and throw. Will proably be Fike's # 2 pitcher this year.
Doesn't talk alot. Let's his game speak for him. Very good player and even better person!

    2010 Best - South Charlotte

I will take this Charlotte lineup against about anybody...2010 Grads Only:

Joe Hager - Myers Park - Outfield - has improved his hitting
Brian Holberton - Myers Park - Catcher - could always hit
Ty Linton -Charlotte Christian - outfield - speed kills
Alex Baker - Ardrey Kell - third base - power and average
Kirk Semeniuk - Providence - DH - power plus
Andy Wilson - Myers Park - first base - solid hitter
Caleb Cunningham - South Meck - outfield - speed and improved hitter
Hayden Untz - second base - if this kid gets healthy, look out
Jack Reinheimer - Ardrey Kell - SS - best defense in town

    **Starting Pitchers
Ryan Butler - Ardrey Kell - RHP
Corbin Cochran - Robinson - LHP
Hunter May - Hopewell - RHP
    **Relievers
Andy Wilson, Kirk Semeniuk, Alex Baker
    Nick Agrawal - Charlotte Christian

    Pretty Strong Mustang

    Pretty strong Mustang.

I would probably plug in Logan Ratledge (AK 2011) at second until Untz gets healthy....

    Alex Minton

This kid has the CHANCE to be REALLY REALLY good, maybe even better. Now I need to make myself clear. This young man will have to work very hard, and everyday he will need to ask himself "what did I do today to help myself in baseball." Then again a lot of people should think about that everyday as well. I believe that if he works very hard, and the moon & stars line up he could be Drafted very high out of high school. Currently he goes to West Wilkes High School. Alex is a catcher, 6'2" 220 Bats left. Now for the kicker, and remember I said that he will have to work hard every single day, but this kid is currently a FRESHMAN. He is the real deal, now lets see if he can do the right thing.
