Carolina Reds have been impressive for a long, long time. I remember back in the days with John Thurston coaching them. Who is coaching them now?

EDIT: Let me rephrase that. Thurston coached the Sox, but I saw many of his players playing for the Reds back in '05. I may be wrong. My memory is fading, so I may be entirely wrong, but I do recall playing against the Red's when I was affiliated with On Deck and they were always tough.

    Great Weekend

The event ran very smooth this weekend. The teams were competitive with some very good talent, the Umpires were very good and consistant (Thanks Stretchy!!), the weather was great and all the games ran on time. Thanks to all!!

I watched some of Saturday's game at Wingate. There were a couple that caught my attention. One in particular went yard...the coach said it was because of his shoes, so I assume he had some new one's on.

Also, there was a lhp that was very impressive (I think he gave up the HR, but he looked very good)

just good friends of the Mcgrath's. Been to a few of the games over the past couple of years.

As far as names, Braves, the only one I recall right now is our friend Eddie Mcgrath.

An informed participant. If you want to know about players to watch, I can help. There are a lot that are going to play at the next level.
