I look for the cougars to get back on track this week and heres how. They go back to what worked in the wilkes game by establishing the run early with a heavy dose of bradshaw & chapman while mixing in some deep shots to there speedster billy fisher(who i feel will have his biggest game of the year this week). I really think the "HIT SQUAD" is very capable of really slowing down the running game of eb by staying fresh. Bc ac is going to control the clock by taking advantage of the eb defense(currently ranked last in the confrence). AC PULLS IT OUT 28-20

PS. ATT ALL COUGAR FANS - Every game this year ac has had a much larger turnout the the other teams both @ home and away. This is a huge advantage for our defense but only if we all actually make some noise instead of just sitting there and watching. So everyone get loud for the defense before the ball is snaped and not just after a big play this can make things much tougher on the opposing teams. While really getting the kids excited.

I hope you are right. The Cougars can win this game. They will have to tackle Shatley and most of the time it takes a gang to do it. If the Cougars run the ball well, they will win. If they are forced to throw 25-30 passes, they are not likely to come away with a W. That's not because they can't throw it, they can but they need to be tough up front and keep the ball away from Shatley. If he gets 25 carries, it's likely a long night for the Cougars.

I agree. I think AC has to stop shatley in order to win this kid is a beast and the cougars are going to have to fly around the ball to stop them. As we've heard all year long AC has two capable backs and if you notice in both of their Wins Alexander has fed these two boys the ball and established the run as mavrick talks about and then will hit Fisher deep. I hope to see Chapman and Bradshaw working in the slot some this week. They need to get these boys involved in the game more especially when they struggle on the ground IMO. Alexander is going to get back on track this week 27-21.

You guys are all wrong. AC has no chance against East Burke. Nobody has figured out a way to stop Shatley, and until they do East Burke will keep feeding him the ball. And as for East Burke's defense being ranked last, I think they are underrated. They aren't great against the pass but you sure as heck can't run it on em. Also as for AC having more fans every where they have played this year won't hold true for tonight, EB takes a huge crowd with them every where and with it being at EB and homecoming, AC doesn't stand a chance. I say EB by at least 14 if not more!

    GO CAVS!!!

So far this year AC hasn't been able to play good football against the better teams ( South Point, ACR ). The Watauga game they fell flat, however they may fall tonight & then again they are due a Break Out game. I'll give the edge to E.B. However as we ALWAYS do, we will pack up the NATION and travel to Burke County & see for ourselves. And with all due respect EB & ACHS do travel as well as any school in the NW4A.
