It's a mirror of the times how this tournament has changed. At one time there were very few scouts that attended. They were waiting their time for this group to age at least another year. Now it is heavily attended by scouts.

Good luck to all the players participating. You are facing many of the best this country has to offer.

    How many

of these teams are young branches of an older club? Was it not just a couple of years ago it was the Older Dirtbags only. Same for SC Panthers. Now they have little brothers following. I know that the Megastars and On Deck have had feeder teams for awhile. Is this a part of the dulation of the showcase. I know we now see wood bat this and that. But is it not undermining the true showcase. Guess they need to rename it (showcase).

This is the UNDERCLASS championship. Its not for the older teams its for JR's and below. Dirtbags have 2 teams of JR's and below and the SC Panthers have 1. SCP did not even go to this one last year since the roster was mixed with SR's

The grand daddy of them all is at the end of the month for SR's and below. SCP will have one team dont know about the 'Bags.

In summary, dont see the dilution of anything. Showcases dont typically have teams from across the country and PG does select the teams that play.

Braves, get on selling them translators. I will try again. I was using the fact that a few years ago the Dirtbags org. was one team as others. No feeder. Today they have expand. Same for SCP. On Deck and the others were multi-teams. I was wondering from those who have knowledge of teams outside NC. Are mnay from teams that have be know in the past as one team deals. And in expanding is this making others form teams calling them showcase teams. Also, is the word showcase being used to much to draw teams.
