Yes, McDowell had 2 total penalties last night, which is better then the two previous years when they had 0 each year. Yes, that is correct, last night McDowell committed a penalty against ACR for the first time in the past 3 games.

Overall this year in conference play...ACR 40 Penalties, our NW4A opponents 11 penalties. Also, ACR committed more penalties last night (12) than ALL our NW4A opponents combined (11) in our 4 conference games so far.

You honestly wouldn't be a little upset if your team had this kind of difference against them, say in girls basketball?

 

Sounds to me like a lack of dicipline in the coaching at ACR and the other teams doing a better job of not making mistakes. If it were just one game and one team miught be a different story but I kind of doubt there is a big conspircy with all the refs to just make bad calls against ACR.

 

Why isn't this a problem for ACR in non-conference? ACR - 39 penalties, 4 non-conference opponents - 27 penalties

Also, I am not saying ACR doesn't commit the penalties, but for 4 different high school teams to combine for just 11 penalties (less then 3 a game) is a little crazy.

 

I agree ACR does commit their penalties however these other teams who are not very good are too but are not getting called for them.

 

this is the last year of the nw4a so it will be better next year acr,it seems to me that if the refs were making calls against acr you would be losing more games than you have,and if they do make calls against acr its not done the other teams any good because you keep winning.

 

stop putting down other teams all kids that play try there very best,sure acr is good but im sick of fans like you putting kids down that play for other team,must you build yourself up by doing that,never have i heard coach moore of asu put down a team,you will win the nw4a this year but acr is not good enough to win state,and you get on here and put down other teams you really hurt the kids that play for acr that's why you don't get a lot of respect.

 

Way to go mtnman,I couldn't have said it better. The attitude that exist in Fairview is why I take such pleasure seeing the Titans beat them in Basketball.

I sometimes wonder why they don't discontinue the football program at East and use the money saved elsewhere. They have a winning season about once a decade and they always seem to be changing coaches because of conflicts.

 

Once again, ACR is in the Reynolds Community of Asheville (Physical Address says Asheville) - Not Fairview.

 

Excactly what teams did I put down? In every conference there are good teams and not very good teams.When teams that maybe win anywhere from 1-3 games per year are not very good teams.I'm sorry if that offends you but it is true. Reynolds had been bad in boys basketball if that makes you feel better.
