Wow, very young and talented team. I noticed 2 freshmen and a sophomore. The question is who is the sophomore setter? She may have the best hands I have ever seen....very smooth. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, it is the soph number 9 that I was talking about (I know that butler is the star) but if you watch that young lady (9) you can tell she either was born with it or has had some great instruction. Guess I was wondering where she came from? We only saw WHS once this year and the youth on that team is scary.

    w question

Don't remember #9. Butler, was player of the year last year and I heard from a very reliable source that she would more than likely be again this year. Those will be tough shoes to fill next year. I do not know of any other young talent on that team and I do not remember any of their names. My bet is that watauga will have a tough road next couple of years. I was at their senior night and that was most of their team leaving.

why are we talking about next year when we have not yet finished this year? WATAUGA is still in the playoffs.

    This makes me :barf2:!

To the op: we saw WHS once this year and I watched them another time in Boone. You are right in the fact that #9 is fundamentally sound but I don't know anything about her other than she is a soph. Maybe she was a transfer? I am sure somebody from Watauga can answer it. Anyway, good luck to Watauga as they continue on..............

To Viper and Countryday. With only 2 and 1 post respectively, it sounds like someone is trying to promote their own kid. That's cool, but let's just be open about it.
