    Off the top of my head, I would say that all the Varsity ladies do at JHR... and at least well over half of the JV as well.

    Also, numerous players from South Central and DH Conley.

    The experience they gain playing "after" the season and the coaching they receive shows when school season comes back around!

    Pinecrest @ JH Rose

    Action from the Rose Garden this evening. JH Rose dominates Pinecrest 3-0. Scoring, respectively, 25-11, 25-16, 25-18

    Coach subs in all during the last set. Will post link to game via newspaper tomorrow morning...

    Rose now awaits the winner of the Hoggard / Richmond Sr match for Thursday...

    In any event, somebody's now on the clock....

    Athens Dr. Shoots down the Person Rockets

    Athens Dr rolled into Rocket Gym tonight and shoots down the defending 4A State champions Perosn Rockets 3-1.
    18-25, 29-27, 26-28, 23-25
    This was some awesome volleyball tonight by two champions and neither team would lay down!! It was like watching a championship game in the state finals!! You can look at the scores and see the tight games.
    The difference tonight was unforced errors by the Rockets and I give credit to Athens Dr for taking advantage of that. Athens Dr will be a team to look out for!!! The Rockets knocked out Athens Dr last year so it is now there turn!! Good luck to Athens Dr!!
    I will provide details later.

    Jordan donws Cary

    Jordan Falcons from the Pac-six downs Cary tonight 3-1 and will face Powerhouse Apex in the third round. Will be a tough match for Jordan. Apex is very very good. I saw them early in the season.

    WOW ... would like to have seen that one! sounds like some of the old kings mountain - foard, providence - west charlotte matches i've seen in the charlotte area. always good to see two teams play well ...

    Davie County over East Forsyth tonight 3-0 (25-20, 25-16, 25-16) The young Eagle squad put up a fight in the first game and then the air came out and that was all she wrote. East loses only one senior.

    Some BIG games coming up in the 3rd round

    There is going to be some really BIG games coming up Thursday night in the 3rd round.
    From the East 4A Bracket:
    Two #1 Seeds will face each other
    Hoggard vs. JH Rose, would love to see this one!
    Jack Britt vs. Scotland, both from the MidSe Conference, this should be a goodone!
    Athens Dr vs. Green Hope....Now this will be another good one!! Two Raleigh area teams and Green Hope knocked out powerhouse Broughton and Athens Dr knocked out Person!!
    Jordan vs. Powerhouse Apex.....don't know if Jordan can handle Apex, they are very strong!
    From The West Bracket:
    Another set of #1 Seeds NW Guilford vs Mt. Tabor. This should be another great match. Is Mt Tabor as good as advertise?? I think so and we will see!
    Davie County vs. N Mecklenburg
    Butler vs. Weddington....this one could be interesting.
    Myers Park vs Watauga....another great match-up and is Watauga as good as advertise?? This one should be a goodone to watch!

    JH Rose has faced Hoggard twice this year, as a non conference matchup and swept them both times. Focus is the issue now, as you progress in the playoffs. It's a one and done format, so a quality team must remain focused and deal with the task at hand.

    In any event, Hoggard, you are officially on the clock....
