Charlotte Christian Baseball: Part 2

    I hear Christian is having trouble swinging the bats. They were 0-2-1 this past week. However, they're pitching staff is something else. You got Bard at #1, Najaka at #2, Barthelson (an underclassmen with talent) at #3, and some submariner as a closer (I believe his name is Stuckey). If they can continue to play defense and their pitching staff does it job, they can get things turned around. Give me your thoughts... Are these guys headed upstream without a paddle? They had an awful week in losing to NW Guilford, Fort Mill, and tying High Point Wesleyan. What do you think? Was the beginning of the year just a flop or are these guys still for real?

    I saw the CC/Fort Mill game. They hit the ball fine, just right at them and they made the plays. All you can really do is hit the ball hard and hope it falls. With a 9-8 score, somebody was hitting the ball.

    Charlotte Christian is going to be good in 2009. They have a good group of players coming

    Just curious. Why did you re-post a thread that's 6 years old? It would have been fine to post your feeling about the new group. What is ironic is that a Bard is still playing
