    Congrats on their first 16U tourney win this weekend in Charlotte. Great bunch of girls who I'm sure have many more tournaments to win. Pretty tough comp also. Karley Harkey pitched every game so I'm sure she slept well last night. Way to go girls. Keep it going in Wilkesboro this weekend.

    A great weekend of softball in Charlotte this weekend with some good teams and great games in the 16U. Congrats to the Storm 14U. Hard fought tourney with a couple close games to the Lady Blues and the Lady Blues Hill. The Storm went 6 and 1 only allowing 2 runs total in 7 games, great job girls. The girls are maturing in their first year 14U and are looking good for next year as a second year 14U team.

    Way 2 Go Storm!

    Hard work and dedication paid off this weekend for the Piedmont Storm 14u with a 1st place victory in the 16u tourney in Charlotte. This is a team of 9 great girls that have showed through hard work, dedication and believing in themselves, that all things are possible. Coach Steve, Tommy and Joe you guys are the best! Your hard work with the girls is showing and we love you guys. I also want to say that this is a very classy organization. You girls witnessed some very unsportsmanlike conduct and you stayed focused and took care of business. We all are proud of you! Let's go get'em in Wilkesboro!

    Congrats to Steve and the Storm who battled with only one pitcher! The never say die Storm played their hearts out against some very strong, older teams. I applaud Steve for pulling his girls together to talk about the "remarks" made during the final couple games and keeping them focused.

    Our whole team did great this weekend but especially Karley, pitching 7 games, 4 back to back. We're looking forward to Wilkesboro and then off to the beach!! Wish us luck!!

    Great job STORM!! Best TEAM work I have seen. I could not be any prouder of all of these ladies and to only have 9 players this past weekend. Everyone of you stepped it up and played AWESOME!!!! Proud to be a STORM parent!!!!

    Storm 14U's do it again . winning the Spooktacular Classic in Satesville this weekend.... Congrats to the coaches and ladies. They only gave up 2 runs this weekend, and it speaks volumes about their pitching and defense. Congrats to Karley Harkey who not only pitched great but hit 2 home runs. Great job ladies.

    Congrats !!

    We use to have 1 pitcher when we were the Union County Fireballs 10U, she use to pitch the entire weekend after weekend..I've seen her pitch 6 straight ball games in one day, 10U !!!

    Way to go Piedmont Storm 14u!

    Way to finish the season winning the Spooktacular Tournament in Statesville this weekend outscoring your opponents 33 to 2 in four games. Congrats to Karley H. for joining the Home Run Club(2 this tournament). All nine of you girls are dedicated and we love to watch you play "Storm Ball." Good job to the coaches! What a year you girls had as a first year 14u team.....2008 NSA 14u "A" State Champs!
