    Diesle1, If I read the bracket correctly the game will be at Apex tuesday night at 7??
    Is this correct? Thanks.....might try and come watch this one!!!

    Observer lack of coverage not surprising

    Good luck getting decent volleyball coverage from the Charlotte Observer. They pick out a few of their favorites and neglect everything else, including basics like names. Simple example, a good friend of mine's daughter plays at Butler, and the brief about their match with MP spells names wrong (Moriah Bellissimo, Laura Icenhour). Speaking of, she had 37 kills against Ardrey Kell, and 33 against Weddington. Check out their volleyball website: www.butlervolleyball.com. There are write-ups on the AK, Weddington, and MP matches linked on the home page. I saw all three of them, great matches, and some seriously pounded volleyballs (especially the AK/Butler match pitting Butler's big hitter against AK's 6'3" Samantha Gosthling).

    And the Observer said today that MP plays at home against Mt. tabor. Wrong. Some people are going to be disappointed when they show up at the Mustang gym to watch basketball practice.

    Apex a worthy opponent, but just not enough for Rose....Rose wins 3 to 1.
    Great match by two really good teams, Apex very worthy of being in regional championship. Great play and never say die attutude by both teams.
