A Bonus Point is his connections

Freddy loves Baseball and I'll dare say will go way out of his way to help you if you love the game also, and can play somewhere in his opinion. It might not be where you'd like to hear, but it is probably where you should go. I say that as a voice of experience.

He knows any and everyone and believe me they call him to get his opinion. If he knows about you and feels you can fit the need he'll refer you.

You brought up a point that many don't realize. He doesn't have to call a college coach (although he does to help a player that he believes is a perfect fit)....they call him.

Braves, I agree. For those that disagree, they would probably disagree with anyone. This has the potential to be a great service to kids. Plus you can walk away with a guideline of what you need to work on. I see nothing but positive from this.

Coach Suggs knows talent, and he will evaluate your son honestly. I did not fully appreciate that my son was D1 material until Coach Suggs evaluated him. He also works hard for the players who are not D1 level for whatever reason but who are excellent committed ball players. Coach Suggs can be tough, he is not always super organized, and his PR skills are not as smooth as what some parents need. But what he does is what most parents want -- he helps find the right program and college fit for our sons based on their strengths and weaknesses. He advised us throughout the stressful college recruiting process and everything he said turned out to be true.

    Cost?

I thought I had read in a previous post by Mr. Suggs that he donates his time and service. So, is there a cost for this or not?

He has retired from the showcase, coaching business where he gave much of his time and money.

The counseling and advice will always be there for one's that ask him. But for one's that ask him specifically to come to their son's game and do a detailed evaluation and give helpful advice based on that evaluation is a fee.

But TBA, although he would prefer for those that have interest to contact him about that, I can tell you for him to travel from home to Asheville and back will barely cover his gas.

    Nothing free anymore

Donations and free time has to stop when you give so much and the same person or persons all of a sudden will have $595.00 to give to another service for only one weekend. This happens more than you can believe. If you have two cars and everybody in your family has cell phones then you can pay your way for what it takes in Baseball.
