    well there are two gyms at the highschool that probably go unused most of the summer.....its got to start there and there needs to be a push from the TOP to get a program started, I am sure coach Setzer would love to have more support and more kids interested in playing.

    Yes, it's hard for programs to excel without support from all involved. AC just needs to get behind bball like it does sball and bball and especially fball.
    Just don't know why some of the ladies lost interest?

    My dd hasn't said who was playing, think they may have tryouts sometime this week.........I was just saying she might be able to help a little but she wasn't the answer..........

    :hungry:My dd plays on a travel bball and a travel softball team.And she only in the 8 grade that is where it starts.So it can be done.Like to see a lot more girl do that.

    I found out last night that the Loudermilt girl is not playing Bball....I hate that, i know she would have been a force on the inside. (which AC will need)

    That is to bad! I Wish she was playing as well, there are several other players that are not playing that AC needs, Sherrill, Setzer and a couple other younger players.........But we still need a summer program, that's key.......

    Do we have any freshmen coming in this season that may make an impact this year in the conference? I know McDowell may have one 9th grader that could make a significant contribution this season. Anybody else?

    AC has 4 freshmen that were part of the WNC Rec State Championship team 3 years ago. However, I think they are on the JV team.
