NW4A Question

I am wondering if anyone knows what the NW4A conference will be without East Burke and Freedom? What schools will be in it?

 

The Northwestern 4A Conference will no longer be a 4A Conference, instead a 4A/3A split conference. And there's no indication it could be called the "Northwestern" conference. Here's how the new conferences will look like that include all current NW4A Members:

I think I remember hearing back when the realignment was approved that the new conference with Freedom would be called the South Mountains 2A-3A. Don't know if that has been made official but it seemed like one of the media outlets used that name. I bet the CVAC will remain the name in the other 2A conference.

 

I bet the coach for ACR is hoping he doesn't get axed after this season because the new conference is going to be cake.

 

i think asheville and t.c roberson will have a lot to say about who wins that conference.it will be harder then the old nw4a,there has only been one year they did not win or were co champs i think it will be a lot harder for them to win as much as they have the nw4an football.and in basketball the nw4a is a pretty good with some good teams but t.c will be good and i think asheville should be ok to.and acr has ot been a power house in basketball over the years.

 

Oh, but they have all these young players, and they have been the emphasis of the coach so they are going to come out and lay they hurt on all the teams they play from now on.

Im not taking anything away from the new conference that Reynolds will be in but the NW4A has some good football teams that they have had to contend with. They have played some close games against East Burke and Freedom over the past few years and probably should have lost a couple of those with the exception of a play or two. So mtnman606 dont try to make it sound like Reynolds is some kind of God among hs football teams but the NW4A is a tough conference year in and year out!

 

Just stating facts...not trying to argue with anyone.

ACR has won 7 of 8 conference football titles since joining the NW4A. Never in school history has ACR done that in any other conference.
