    North and South Canes

The Canes are a winning organization and Coaches Petty, Collins and Covington do a great job with the players. The Canes schedule includes all the top tournaments on the East Coast. The 16u program is excellent.

There was a kid recommended to me from the Dunn area. His name is Aparicio. Does anybody know where this kid is playing? I'm thinking he's 15-16 yo.

I played against him in the Central Carolina Scholastic Summer League Sate tournament. He played for East Wake, but I am not for sure if he attends the school. I believe he is a 9th or 10th grader, but has pop because I saw the ball leave his bat from behind the dish and go about 360 feet.

His name is Jonathan Aparicio and he lives in the Wendell area. My youngest son played with him. He's a good ballplayer. I believe he's in the 10th grade and I'm pretty sure he goes to East Wake High School.

When I saw him play this past summer he was at SS, but I believe he also pitches now. He is very athletic, tall for his age.
