Wow....we sure have some talented members on TBR. There is no reason for any question that is asked....that someone with experience can't answer.

We are very fortunate to have so many valuable members....and people that don't mind helping anyone.

I'm Drew Dull. I graduated from East Forsyth in 2004, played 4 years of varsity baseball and went on to Methodist University. Had a torn rotator cuff and never really recovered to be the same. I will be graduating from Methodist in May with a Math Education degree with Licensure and hoping to pursue and career at the high school level and coaching baseball. My brother just graduated from East and is now attending UNC-Asheville and playing baseball there. My mom is a teacher of 30 years plus and coaches volleyball and softball at East Forsyth and is also the Assistant Athletic Director. (she reads the board often but does not have a screen name on here that I know of) I guess my teaching genes run in the family with her and somewhere along the family line I think catamount and I are related, but that is way down the line. Love the game of baseball and if I can provided anyone with any help I would love to and will probably need some once I graduate and before that in looking for a high school job.

Coming out from behind my TBR nick name. Speaking of nick names, arent they supposed to be given to you? No one is allowed to have a self given nick name right? Regardless, I am a Queen City native. Attended Myers Park High School, graduating in 94'. Just finished 14 years of pro ball playing with 6 organizations including some big league time with the Indians. I have returned to work with one of Charlotte's most experienced baseball people (Jeff Schaefer) at the #1 baseball training facility in the area. We teach and help the kids achieve their dreams in the game of baseball. Any way I can help anyone, just ask... :)

    TBR.....

Even though this thread is called outstanding tbr members, I will post anyway!

    Real name: Kevin Allman

I never was worth crap in baseball, played in HS (Swain HS) and started all 4 years, but heck I think we only had 9 players so the coach didn't have much choice. Born and raised in Bryson City, NC, left for 2 years as a baby and been here ever since.
My son is Josh Allman and he is a LHP at UT. Trust me, had nothing to do with the baseball genes he was given by me.

Speaking of given nicknames, I have been called "Bird" since before HS. Some of you that know me now will get a kick out of this, before my metabolism slowed down (aka got fat) people used to say I could fly on a basketball court like a bird, hence the nickname. To this day, most people in my hometown still call me that over my given name.

I have been fortunate enough to get to know alot of people on this board over the past few years and we have went on to become the best of friends.

And Braves, what are you trying to say about WNC and everybody being kin!

    Real name- Christopher Hill

Charlotte native who attended Harding High school way back when Moses was a senior. Graduated in 1979. Turned down a football scholarship at Kansas University to play baseball. Drafted and played in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization and the Blue Jays. If their is a baseball lifer club then i am in it. Love this game and love to see kids play it and play it the right way. I have been involved in this game since i was eight years old, through playing, coaching and teaching the game. My nickname has always been CONAN, though now i am to old to be called that. I have two sons one plays in college and the other one plays in high school. When they finish playing i will be that strange man that stops at games when he passes a field on the road, just to watch baseball been played." Jeff Schaefer", me and Alan is having a meeting at the round table. Please don't chicken out.
