I may have to do what I always tease my wife about and find a place to park the car that still has a good view and enjoy the heater :9:

Speaking of the cold. Since we are still pretty new at doing these events, do the scouts/coaches take into account how cold it is when evaluating the kids? Surely the kids won't be at their best with it being so cold?

    Just curious.

Yes...but they can still spot tools. They realize foot speed and arm strength won't be at their best

    COLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Braves / Freddy saw you guys Saturday. Sorry I did not get a chance to talk but both of you looked way to busy and we had to leave before the event was over. I thought the event was very well attended. Saw some very talented players. I know the guys were fine but speaking for the parents, it was cold!! Who was the giant lefty that pitched near the end? He looked like he was really letting the ball go. One of the guys that stood out to me was Jaryd Wingler(SP??) from North Wilkes. Maybe it was because I was able to watch him some over the summer but he is an all out type of player. Runners on base with the game on the line, Jaryd is the guy you want in the batters box. Solid as solid gets!
