Please keep Will Dicus in your thoughts and prayers. He is one of my baseball players at Watauga. He has been fighting cancer for the last 5 years. He has had another set back. He is in a hospital in Washington. He is in alot of pain but he is still fighting. He is the toughest most hardnosed player I have ever coached! I love him and would request prayers for Will and his great family. Thanks!!!

I have been reading the Will story on here as it is posted by others and it really makes realize what life is all about. Here is a kid that has gone through more in his life than probably any member in here. I keep him in my thoughts and prayers and hoping that he can one day not have to worry about the cancer coming back into his body. He is a true hero and a role model for people that are twice or three times his age. God bless this kid and his family for not giving up and to fight the cancer til the end and hoping that he can be home for Christmas and not worry about having to go back to the doctor to see if the cancer came back.

My thoughts and prayers are with Will and his family as they are going through a tough time and the Watagua community for showing him support and love that he will cherish and never forget.

I've been receiving emails from Will and his teammates. There is not a tougher kid in the world. One day I will share with everybody some of the things he has told me in private....he's an amazing young man.

Of course, he is always in my prayers

I'm not sure if the family has a specific area for donations. Coach Hardee would have those details, so I'll let him post that information. But I'm going to share some personal correspondence I have had with Will....it will demonstrate how tough a kid he is. One of which he explains how he was coughing up blood, but made his teammates swear not to tell his coach so he could pitch...and then he went on to have a 1-2-3 inning. He's the most courages kid I have ever met.

It's one of many reasons I keep "Wautaga Pioneers #6" as my avatar signature
