    You are correct Tony. It's gets a little old for me sometimes and I know it bothers Amber a little. It's due to us coaching together for 8 years and always being seen together. A lot of our friends are mutual as in this case. This man has been a long time supporter of Freedom basketball and I know he means nothing by the comment as others that make them.

    Great game today at the Bobcats Arena! Forestview led by 9 in 2nd quarter. Freedom held Forestview to only 6 free throws in the 4th. No field goals.

    Freedom---61
    Forestview-- 53

    Ford with 35
    Connelly-- 15

    Freedom now 9-0

    I'll have to admit Freedom beating Forestview twice is a pretty strong statement

    Congrats on the big win yesterday at Bobcats Arena...the Lady Pats are off to a very good start. Maybe ya'll get a little more love from the regional media outlets (ala Charlotte Observer Sweet 16 poll). I'm looking forward to the Christmas Tourney next weekend.


    I think this last year of the Northwstern 4A could provide a alot of interesting and exciting moments...

    With this win I do think the Patriots can now be legit contenders with Butler, West Charlotte, and East Meck- this was a "playoff type game"
    and if you get to those teams you only have to beat them once...which is possible. NW4A has seeding preference too.

    BTW--The scare that EB gave ACR Friday has to bring into question how ACR will compete this year.

    I may be wrong but it is my understanding that this isn't the last year of the nw4a. Still gonna be nw4a next year with different teams as has been done in the past. Am I wrong?
    I'll agree with you on this year. Looks like Freedom is at the top but at least 3 other teams lokk pretty equal and could make for some great matchups. I think one of those 3 teams could maybe beat Freedom one time but the thing is I don't see any of them running the table after that. with that if one of them did upset Freedom but then beat each other up Freedom would still win the conference. I look forward to the games after Christmas. We (SC) have a super tough strech of games coming up right after Christmas 4 straight games starting with Forestveiw, then Freedom, Mcdowell and Reynolds. That is 4 tough games in a row not to mention we have to play East burke before that. Fun time is starting
