Freedom looking for new football coach

    This is what I'm aware of, I may be wrong a little on the order, but I think this is it:

    Coached at Lenoir-Rhyne College as an assistant (O-Line I think), then got the head job at E. Burke (2 years), then HC at W. Char. (1 year), then at W. Lincoln as an assistant (1 year), then head coach Cherryville (1 year), then the HC NW Cabarrus (2 years), unemployed (as a coach) this past season.

    I heard a rumor that his wife will be the next girls basketball coach at Freedom as well... could this have been a package deal?

    His wife is at Hickory and does a great job there. I'd say it would be a little hard to get rid of Amber. I'm pretty sure she's 14-0 right now and ranked 4th in the state.

    I heard the Freedom girls coach may be leaving anyway, going west from what I hear.

    The rumor has been going around since Ali Ford signed at Elon. This isn't the case and not in her plans. She loves Freedom and plans on remaining the head coach for a long time to come.

    You know- I'm just trying to keep others from starting rumors and just made a statement. No need for the smart remark... People are talking about her leaving, so... My apologies sir. The Lady Patriots Coached by Amber Fox are 14-0 and ranked 4th in the state. Is that better? Maybe if others would keep quite and not try to stir rumors then these comments wouldn't need to be made.

    Thad I hope Amber has a long successful career at Freedom but please remember how the two coaches that preceded her {who were also very successful} and the coach from McDowell{who was one of the most successful coaches in the history of the state} were treated by the system.
