I thought about putting a dome over the field but my day job, or lack there of, won't allow me.

    Border collie

Local (Charlotte) area golf courses have had some success using border collies that are trained to chase geese. After several “applications” the geese prefer to find other areas to graze.

I doubt that you need a specific trained dog in a small confined space like a baseball field, just one that likes to “get after it” a bit.

We used to put blow up pictures of dbacks...and scared the jebeezus out of those geese. But after awhile something weird happened. They grew affection for that face and multiplied.

What works best (true story) are the decoys of dead geese. They will never land

If you can fugure out a way to put up some fishing line crossing the infield most birds/ducks will stay out. Not sure if it will work with geese but it might be worth a try. The pain would be putting it up and taking it down..

If that does not work shoot one and put him on the mound...
