NW4A Week 5 Schedule...

    should be a good 1 n icard this eve. . . watch the tempo of the game early. . .if e burke can jump ahead quick it will b an interesting game 2 watch.good luck 2 both teams as freedom must have this win 2 stay n the hunt!eburke will try 2 keep nw4a momentum with another big win!

    freedom held off a late run by the lady cavaliers this eve. n icard.fhs led by 20 plus n 3rd qtr. but only 2 have eburke cut it 2 7 n the 4th.very erratic n sluggish play 4 both teams.final 73-60fhs n an ugly win.ford-20 olivia-22 byrd-19 2 lead eburke this eve.(byrd can shoot the rock pretty well!)

    Definitely a good question...I may be wrong on this but I'm thinking three years ago nobody made it through the first half of the schedule without a loss. That was Ali's freshmen year, Washington, Hamilton and Greene were sophomores at McDowell and AC Reynolds had Thompson, Worley and Rybacki. Freedom beat Reynolds, then Freedom lost at home to McDowell, who then loss at Reynolds to finish the first half.

    Any word on the South Caldwell/Alexander Central game?

    Also, could someone post how ACR/McDowell JV games went, if not a score at least who won. We are trying to update our website and need those out comes.
