    Tater

Congrats Tate, I know how many hrs you've put in. No one knew we had 3 future D1s on our little Smithfield Devil Rays T-ball team many years ago. No wonder we won so big they changed the rules. Continue to work and great things will happen for you.... We all are happy for you....

RCC, you are right in that the credit should be spread over the kid's playing career. Honestly, the most credit should go to the player himself! He has the talent and has worked to develop it to the point that he was recruited.
Andy doesn't "train" players, he just seems to have a knack for getting players into a Dirtbag uniform that are ready to be recruited. What I mean is the kids have figured out what it takes to be one of the best in their sport. What Andy does do is, by example, show them a winners attitude that the college and pro guys seem to love.
I have the utmost respect for the other organizations we are lucky to have here in NC. The Panthers and the Hurricanes are the ones I'm most familiar with and both are class organizations that have impressive resumes when it comes to getting players to the next level. The Dirtbags, Panthers, Hurricanes, etc have helped put NC on the map as a place to find talented, well trained, high school age baseball players. Many unnamed folks help "grow 'em" these organizations just "show 'em".

    Congrats Tate

Congrats Tate. My son told me that he really enjoys playing and being around Tate. That in itself tells me that he is a good person as well as a very good player. UNC has got another good ball player. It is amazing how quick the post got turned around from recognizing a great acomplishment to little suttle digs at an organization. It doesn't matter who a player plays for but that he is playing and getting the opportunity to continue doing something that he or she enjoys. With all of the outstanding organizations in the state let stop the putdowns and be thankful for the opportunity that our kids have. Sorry for the soap box.
    Congratulations Tate.
