    By the way, I would like to have a running commentary on this year's season for both LR and Wingate. Just start a thread devoted to your school. I'd like to do a thread for any school our members follow.....

    Guys, I have a daughter over on the other diamond at LR. I go to some of the baseball games too..Maybe we can get lunch around Hickory one day.....

    I believe Wingate will be traveling to L-R on Tuesday. I should be up there then. Maybe we all can do something that day

    Might i suggest? Windy City Grill, best greasy cheeseburger in town, braves jr probably went there a time or two

    Pfeiffer beat a strong looking Mars Hill team 7 to 3. Andy came in the bottom of the ninth and struck out the side.

    Nobody has ever been able to hit his slider. He doesn't need to have a catcher give him signs---he could just shout it out for all to hear "slider is coming" and it wouldn't matter. They ain't going to hit it.

    Some people have never understood how good he is. They look at his size and go,. "he's meat...", then slowly return to their dugout after another "K" has been rung up.
